December Daily 2010 | Day Ten

Today I did a couple of photo enlargements to cover the file folder page for Day Ten.  Loved it!  Especially the contrast between front and back.  The front is very playful and fun (fitting for Josiah) and the back captures the sweet feeling of the photo of Katherine and Maggie.  The front is pictured above.
I added the sentiment using Ali Edwards' Hand Drawn Brushes and Stamps, as well as the number 10 printed from my computer and a few stickers from the Making Memories Wordfetti Noel collection.  I love his smile.

Here's a photo of the back:

After typing and printing my journaling in red, I also added a strip of words at the top using Ali's Holiday Word Art, and then added the Anna Griffin felt Love sticker from her Calisto Christmas collection.  I also cut out a small heart using the glittered paper from yesterday's page.  I love this photo of my daughters.

JOURNALING:  I love to watch the way you love on your baby sister. You are so sweet and so patient with her, always wanting to give her kisses before bedtime and even before you leave in the morning for school. And I love the way you are able to make her smile and coo. I can tell how much you love her, and am so glad she’s going to grow up with you as her big sissy.

  1. scrapbooking creativity transcends time and region...just reading Ali's blog this morning and randomly selected names on her list - you were the second I selected, the first a woman outside of London. What also transcends who we are and distance is faith and belief in God. We serve an awesome, powerful God!!! I live in the mountains of NC and today we woke to 3-4 inches of snow (predicted - wow). And, we live "up the mountain" so it is a stay at home day! My children are grown and yours are young. Blessings to you today and for your family! a sister in Christ...Beverly
